An Electrical Components Manufacturer decided to decided to conduct an internal market research study to determine the best way to monitor Health and Safety issues. Feedback concluded that a reward scheme should be implemented to encourage individuals to suggest Health and Safety ideas. As well as this, the company introduced a positive peer to peer approach to Health and Safety issues.

Employees could nominate their colleagues for demonstrating best practice when it came to conducting themselves in a safe manner around the site. This encouraged individuals to look out for positive behaviour thus encouraging sharing of best practice.
