NHS Prescription Pricing Authortiy (PPA)
Tasked with looking at the PPA Long Service Awards, members of the purchasing, Finance and HR teams were asked to look at the acknowledgement process. Weighing up the benefits of different mechanics, the Love2shop gift vouchers was ultimately selected as the chosen reward because staff from Newcastle and Durham to Sheffield, Preston and Manchester could equally use them without being limited geographically
When the Prescription Pricing Authority (PPA) began developing a new Improving Working Lives initiative in 2003, incentive schemes were pivotal for it's implementation and success.
Part of the National Health Service, the PPA is a prescription processing organisation with thirteen sites and responsible for over 3,000 employees nationwide. The new initiative considered schemes that would work across the board and included new projects such as employee travel benefits and Long Service Awards.
Kevin Sample, Purchasing Supervisor commented:"It has allowed our employees the freedom of the high street, a benefit that you want from a Long Service Award. The vouchers have been received very well from all who have gained and used them to date and we are intending to run this on a regular basis with the support and servicing of Love2reward"
