staff recognition for workers at the sites.

Lister Park, Manningham, Peel Park, Undercliffe, Roberts Park, Saltaire, Low Moor, Harold Park, St Ives Estate, Bingley, Central Park and Haworth have all picked up an award from Green Flag, reports the Telegraph and Argus.

Councillor Andrew Thornton , Bradford Council's portfolio holder with responsibility for environment and sport, told the news provider: "Full credit must go to staff who work so hard throughout the year to maintain our parks to a high standard, and to the volunteers of friends groups who help to drive improvements."

Mr Thornton continued by saying that Bradford is "fortunate" to be home to the parks, adding that they benefit everyone in the community.

Keeping parks in a tidy condition is important in order to impress visitors to areas, and this award will be sure to motivate those who strived to maintain the sites.ADNFCR-1706-ID-801408759-ADNFCR
