staff reward schemes.Held on March 9th at London's Hallam Conference Centre, the CIPD Performance Management Conference will show human resources professionals how to move their current system from mere data collection to a structured programme which leads to continual improvement.
Angela Baron, adviser on organisation development and engagement with the CIPD, said that the event demonstrates how companies can integrate their performance management system with other HR functions to manage talent, improve employee wellbeing and support motivation.
She also added that performance management is "about improving the quality of communication between managers and employees, giving roles clarity and enabling individuals to understand what they need to do and how this fits with strategic business objectives".
A recent Chartered Management Institute poll found that one-third of business leaders think that their company will become more employee-centric in the years to 2020.
