Strategic Thought, a software company, is to apply several incentives to retain its 115 members of staff when it moves 30 miles from Wimbledon to Maidenhead in September, it has been reported.

Measures to encourage employees to stay include subsidising any extra costs of travel incurred by the move and offering variable working-day lengths to make the changes positive for everyone involved, according to Personneltoday.co.uk.
The company wants to keep its entire workforce and is intent on knowing how the move will affect people by carrying out surveys before and after the transition, the source claims.
Adrian Farley, human resources director, told the news provider: "The new offices are bigger, will give our customers and partners easier access and will give us a better quality of working life."
In addition, the firm claims to be upgrading broadband facilities for its home workers to improve services and productivity in this area too.
Future Foundation research published in June for CBS suggests that thanks to the increased flexibility derived from mobile working, Britain's employees could put in 99 million more working days per year.
