The Association of International Medical Insurance Providers (Aimip) says it will alter its services to meet new demands in a changing environment.

It cites the key challenges which are currently arising are where employers need to provide insurance which is locally compliant.

Carl Carter, chairman of Aimip, said the company wants employers to see it as a quality mark so users can be assured of value.

"This is the fastest-growing sector of the medical insurance industry. The needs of expatriates are very complex and varied," he added.

Aimip also aims to identify fraudulent clinics and medical practices around the world.
