Council offers vouchers for free parking
Friday, 21 November 2008
A council is offering residents a free four-hour parking voucher to be used in council fee paying car parks across Huntingdonshire.

The voucher scheme has been designed to encourage people to shop locally this Christmas and spend money at independent stores in the area.
District Wide, Huntingdonshire district council's resident magazine, will publish the voucher in the latest edition released on November 24th.
Ian Bates, leader of the council, said the country is on the edge of a recession and many of the area's residents are feeling the effects of the credit crunch.
"We are delighted to be able to help people save money during this time which can be used on extra gifts or treats for loved ones," he added.
The voucher can be used between December 6th and January 31st on a Saturday and may be used for one session only.
In recent news, it was revealed gift vouchers for experiences which allow people to relax are likely to find favour with friends and relatives this Christmas.
