Firms which are looking to implement an employee

incentive scheme do not have to carry out all the hard work themselves, it has been pointed out.Writing on callcentrehelper.com, Robert Cowen said that many businesses believe they will have to design, launch and manage their employee incentive scheme in-house, which can be off-putting.

However, he added: "Many are unaware that there are companies that specialise in the creation, implementation and management of employee incentive programmes. They have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field."

Mr Cowen wrote that an employee incentive scheme can be highly effective if it offers gift cards or vouchers for stores and restaurants, as workers appreciate being given rewards which are flexible.

In addition, the expert pointed out that employee incentive programmes do not only have to reward top performers and can be used to encourage positive behaviours in all workers.
