employee benefits packages, it has been claimed.Max Taylor, director of corporate marketing at Orange, said that several pieces of research carried out by his company in the past have shown that the demand for flexible working is increasing in the UK.

He added that the government recently announced plans to support flexible working in the UK, by removing the legislative barriers to the practice and encouraging its use through means such as high-speed internet access.

Last month, Workforce Logistics principal consultant Ken Beaumont claimed that flexible working can be good at improving employee retention.
