Flexible working is now a hot topic

Flexible working has now become a hot topic among modern businesses, an expert has claimed.

Peter Boucher, commercial marketing manager at Vodafone, believes that the approach represents good news for businesses, telling the Huffington Post that he believes the employee benefit will soon become "the norm".
"It's high time that the UK business community stopped clinging to the old ways and got over the fear of the new, because in the long term we only stand to gain," Mr Boucher continued.
The expert added that the technology is not an opportunity for workers to "slack off", explaining that the "opposite is true" in his experience of those who work from home.
By enabling employees to operate from home, companies may be able to benefit from better productivity, while staff will save money by not paying for their usual transport fees.
As well as this, such a perk could help them to improve their work/life balance.
