Workers at West Suffolk Hospital have been handed

national awards handed to west suffolk hospital

staff recognition after scooping two national awards.The hospital collected two winners' prizes at the 2011 Safety Express Awards, while being commended in two other categories. Also, Lisa Nobes from the hospital was recognised for motivating and supporting colleagues, reports the Haverhill Echo.

Stephen Graves, chief executive at West Suffolk Hospital, said: "Ensuring the safety of every single patient who uses West Suffolk Hospital is our number one priority."

Mr Graves went on to say that he was absolutely delighted that the hospital was so successful at the national awards ceremony, and congratulated all of its workers.

It follows a report by the Burton Mail, which revealed that Healthcare at Home picked up a business of the year award in Burton.
