Staff in the north-east of the UK are happy, optimistic and positive, according to a new report.

Data from Bibby Financial Services revealed that a quarter of SME managers had witnessed a rise in motivation levels during the first three months of 2012.
This is a 14 per cent increase from the last quarter of 2011 and comes despite the tough economic climate.
Mark Storey, spokesperson for Bibby Financial Services, said that while it was "disappointing" that managers are not as upbeat about the trading environment, it was encouraging to see that employees remained motivated.
"An inspired and driven workforce increases productivity and improves the quality of the goods or services they provide. Similarly, levels of absenteeism and staff turnover are more likely to be minimised," he added.
Mr Storey said that the findings of the study were "good news" for businesses in the north-east as they look to stay on track.
