The organisations captured the Gold Award in the employee recognition category at the Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) Awards, which recently took place in London.
Its Siemens Champions programme was recognised after it enabled workers to personally recognise colleagues who show corporate values in their interaction with customers.
Toby Peyton-Jones, HR director for Siemens, said: "There are so many 'Heroes' and 'Heroines' in our organisation: people who have gone well beyond their job description, which have helped others in ways that is an inspiration or who have moved mountains to meet a customer deadline."
Mr Peyton-Jones went on to say that recognising a colleague can often be as fundamental as picking up an award.
