Staff receive healthcare cash plans
Monday, 18 August 2008
The entire workforce of the John Lewis Partnership can now receive an added incentive from their employer in the shape of a healthcare cash plan, it has been reported.

Encompassing 69,000 employees in total across the organisation's companies Waitrose, John Lewis and Greenbee, every worker will have access to the scheme, operated by the HSA, reports Employeebenefits.co.uk.
The plan will entitle them to cash back to go towards dental, optical and physiotherapy costs.
Dan Barnard, benefits manager for leisure, told the news provider: "As a supportive employer we think a healthy and happy workforce is of paramount importance."
Staff under the age of 18 will receive the plan for free and all other staff will need to pay between £1 and £6 for cover, which also includes benefits for their partner.
John Lewis claims its "people and principles" drives its business forward and makes it successful, with the subsequent benefits shared amongst its employees.
