reward scheme for its customers.The card will be distributed to myWaitrose members and customers on the John Lewis Partnership, while consumers can also register for the initiative in-store or online.

As part of the scheme, customers will have the opportunity to win back the monetary value of four weeks of shopping.

Leigh Rengger, CRM manager at Waitrose, said: "We want to understand more about the food they love and, as the programme develops, we will be able to give them access to exclusive content, offers and experiences."

The spokesperson noted that the card is the company's method of thanking their customers.

News of Waitrose's card comes after a spokesman from a leading voucher company stated that voucher codes can be used to trim the expenses associated with DIY work.
