The Western Gazette Awards have been praised by a Yeovil-based solicitors for encouraging excellence among workers.

The ceremony offers staff recognition to business leaders in small and large businesses, with Dyne Drewett Solicitors noting that it is more important than ever for such hard work to be praised, reports the Western Gazette.
Speaking to the newspaper, Justin Hopkins, partner and head of commercial at Dyne Drewett Solicitors, said: "The Business Awards encourage and celebrate excellence. They are a fantastic way of helping organisations to stand out from the crowd."
Mr Hopkins went on to say that the ceremony offers an objective and a range of standards for businesses, which help to retain customers.
These comments come after the Somerset County Gazette reported that a selection of workers in Somerset have been praised at an awards show in Taunton.
The ceremony was hosted by charity Reminiscence Learning and 23 creative activity therapists were given National Open College Network certificates.
