Debenhams just Love2shop

Debenhams are the latest major retail name to join the Love2shop voucher.

The Love2shop voucher is the UK?s most popular multi-choice gift voucher and is sold through Park Group plc?s three main channels to market ? Christmas Savings, Corporate (under the Love2reward banner) and Online direct to the consumer (via highstreetvouchers.com).

Debenhams, with its 150 stores throughout the UK are a perfect fit and to help promote their inclusion on the voucher they are inviting Love2shop customers to their Autumn ?with up to 25% off everything event? in Mid November

Around £180m in Love2shop vouchers will be distributed into the retail market this Christmas through Park?s various channels which is around 17% more than last Christmas, this, makes the proposition particularly interesting for retailers at this key time of the year.

2008 has been a great year for the voucher as not only have Debenhams joined but a whole host of other leading names including Matalan, House of Fraser, Goldsmiths, Barratts and Ten Pin (previously Mega Bowl).  

"Debenhams is a great acquisition for the voucher and will give our Christmas savers and employees and customers of our corporate clients even more choice and will reinforce its position of being the UK's most popular multi option gift voucher" says Chris Hartley, business development director at Park Retail.

Chris puts the popularity of the voucher down to the competitive nature of the high street and the wide spread choice and appeal of the brands who accept it ? including other major names including the likes of Argos, Boots, Woolworths, Comet, River Island, Iceland, Homebase, HMV to name a few. Over 80 leading high street names now accept the voucher through around 20,000 stores in the UK.
